1:1 coaching for beginner and intermediate climbers! Based at our SF gym.
Coaching Bio
Kevin started as a rope-climber but found his passion for bouldering under the tutelage of the UT Austin Climbing Team. Since 2015, he has explored the sport through a mix of gym climbing and outdoor ventures across California, Nevada, and Colorado.
With a diverse background in martial arts, running, ultimate frisbee, skiing, and even captaining his collegiate Quidditch team, Kevin brings a playful, creative lens to exercise and coaching.
What is your coaching philosophy?
I believe progress in climbing often comes from asking the right questions. My coaching is grounded in curiosity, experimentation, and reflection. More than just giving answers, I aim to help climbers build awareness and understanding so they can solve problems independently.
What can clients expect?
Each session will be a one-on-one hour focused on you: your movement, your mindset, and what you’re working toward. We’ll discuss your experience, your goals, and how climbing feels to you. I’ll ask questions throughout each session to help you build awareness, understand your choices, and expand your toolkit. You’ll leave my sessions with skills and drills to practice and exercises tailored to your climbing.
These sessions are best for beginner to intermediate boulderers (V0 -V8) looking to deepen their understanding of movement, grow their technique library, and apply the right tools at the right time.
