Bio:

Emily was a professional dancer in NYC and Miami for 10 years prior to becoming a Physical Therapist. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Since 2014 she has developed a passion for rock climbing, and specializes in treating climbing injuries. She helps climbers return stronger after all types of aches and pains including traumatic and non traumatic injuries to fingers, hands, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles etc. She’s also passionate about injury prevention, and is a master at creating personalized training programs. 

Guiding Philosophy:

Working with a PT can be helpful for healing and addressing underlying causes for injuries. Emily listens deeply to clients about their needs in order to develop holistic solutions for each individual. She supports patients with objective testing, manual therapy, specifically dosed exercise, home exercise programming, skills, drills, and education. 

What can clients expect?

One hour sessions in which we’ll address current or past injuries, muscle weakness, motor control, coordination, range of motion, joint mobility, and power/ endurance. Each follow up appointment is tailored to progressing safely towards your goals. Average length of care is 4-6 weeks but can vary greatly depending on the injury, past level of function, and long term goals.

Standard Appointment (60 mins): $205.00*
Diagnostic Ultrasound for Fingers: $300.00*

*Please note that non-Benchmark members must also purchase a $15 discounted day pass to access the facility. Day passes can be purchased at the front desk the day of your session. Clients who cancel within 36 hours will be billed the full amount for the session.
